Planning Underway for the 6th Annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival - August 2008

Yes, we are accepting applictions for our juried and non juried artist markets 

The festival is located along the shaded pedestrian roadways of historic Grant Park, Atlanta’s oldest public park. The weekend is filled with a variety of featured events including the Artist Market, food vendors, the Adams Realtors 5K RUN FOR THE PARK on Saturday morning, live  performance stages and a children’s fun center. And, don't forget  Corks & Forks — A Fine Food & Wine Event featuring up to 10 chefs/restaurants each day and dozens of the coolest wines to hit the market.  Join us for the 6th Annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival, August 30 & 31, 2008.

Launch Atlanta and Mixit Marketing Join Festival

The Summer Shade Festival is pleased to welcome Launch Atlanta, a PR/Marketing company to the 2008 TEAM.  Launch Atlanta will handle media relations, PR, and marketing of the event.

Mixit Marketing also joins the TEAM.  Mixit will work with sponsor recruitment, relations and fulfillment.

Welcome Operation Boot Camp

Operation Boot Camp has joined the 2008 Sponsor Team and is working to support the Conservancy in a number of ways.  Volunteers from Operation Boot Camp help out with First Saturday Work Days and plan to have a display at the Summer Shade Festival.  Operation Boot Camp offers fitness training in the park on an on-going basis.
