Birthday Events

So, who do you know celebrating a 125th birthday in 2008? We think its pretty special and for that reason, we plan a series of events and happenings through the year to highlight Atlanta's oldest public park. What's on the party agenda?

April 26, A BIG Cake Float - not in root beer but in a parade.  The Conservancy sponsors a float in the annual Inman Park Festival Parade complete with big cake, walking candles. balloons and fun.

May 17, the day Mr. Grant submitted his hand written deed to the city donating 100 acres of his land for a public park, there are a number of special tours planned. The Conservancy, in partnership with its friends from Atlanta Starts Here - http://www.atlantastartshere.org - will offer tours, ticket discounts and special gifts to participants. Click here to see the schedule of activities/events for Friday May 16, Saturday May 17 and Sunday May 18.
