Atlanta Prepares for Battle, the Battle, the Aftermath
The Conservancy kicks off a season of walking tours with archeologist and historian Garrett Silliman leading an interpretive walk to Ft. Walker. The fort is one of the few remaining structures built to defend the city in 1864. Tour begins at 10:00 a.m. Meet at the south end of the parking lot on Boulevard. $5 per person, Seniors/Students $3, children under 10 free.
