Thank you for your interest in participating in the 6th Annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival, August 30 & 31, 2008. We are planning for yet another great event that will include the juried artist market, a non juried market, food, live music, a 5K Run, children's activities, our fine food and wine event - Corks & Forks and more.

The Juried Artist Market - Only 100 spaces available in high traffic area, mostly shaded, judging with cash prizes available to Best of Show, Second Place, Third Place, Honorable Mention. Artists accepted to the juried portion receive mention on our website with a link to his/her website. Selected by a panel of local artists. Handmade by the artist, original, creative, unique. No buy/sell. Painters, Potters, Photographers, Wood Turners, Glass Artists, Jewelers, Sculptors, Weavers, Lithographers, Folk Artists, etc. are all welcome.
The Non Juried Artist Market - A new seciton opened for 2008 due to demand, the Non Juried Artist is selected by the Festival Committee, is physically separated from the juried market and is more inclusive of quality craft items. Handmade originals here also. No buy/sell.
Exhibitor - Non Artist/Non Profit/Small Local Home Based Business/Partner Organizations/Community - A limited number of spaces are available for our partner organizations, other non profits with an emphasis on environmental, home based businesses in the Grant Park area or businesses with fewer than 10 employees, community organizations.
Food Vendors - No explanation needed here, except to say, we do look for a good mix with a healthier menu to include vegetarian, organics, fresh fruits, and more. You can still get a burger or a dog, ice cream, Italian ice, etc. No deep fat fryers.
Festival Stage - We focus on the great talent right here in Atlanta and have several different stages. Each stage is different. We include street artists in this category as we seek to make the Festival - like life - a Stage.
Other Exhibitor Opportunities - Businesses (more than 10 employees) are eligible to participate in the market area through various sponsorship levels. The basic sponsorship package begins at $1000 and includes a 10x10 space, listing in our Festival Guide, one ticket to Corks & Forks on Saturday and one ticket to Corks & Forks on Sunday.
